Three more weeks until Winter Break. Wow! Time is flying!

This week is going to be super fun! We are going to be working on a SECRET project that the kids will be bringing home during the last week before Winter Break. We will also be doing a lot of art projects to decorate our classroom, and learning about the letter H.
I hope everyone had a restful and lovely holiday break with family and friends. The kids enjoyed learning about turkeys during our short week last week. Thank you to all who donated to the bake sale. I hope you enjoyed any goodies you took home.
TRADITIONS

Over the next three weeks, we will be doing a lot of holiday projects and talking about what we doing during the holidays. We would like to invite you to come into the classroom and talk about any traditions you have during this time of year. If you have a story you always read, a cooking project, an art project, etc. you would like to share with us, just talk to Teacher Jaylene to plan a time to come in to the classroom. We can't wait to share this time of year with you!
Santa Breakfast
Tickets are on sale now for our annual Santa breakfast on Saturday, December 6, from 9 - 11. Santa will have a gift for each child who attends. Tickets will be on sale through Dec. 4 - $3 for kids, $5 for adults. We hope to see you all there!

Winter Concert
Our concert will be held on Tuesday, Dec 9. Mark your calendars. We have been working hard on our songs, and the kids are getting really excited to sing them for you.
Word Wall - Letter H
This week we will be learning about the letter H for hot, home, and holiday. Your child may bring in something that starts with H for sharing.
Canned Food Drive
We are continuing to collect food in cooperation with the church to fill baskets for those in need in our community. Our box was overflowing last week. Thank you! You can keep bringing in non-perishable items through our last day of school before break, Dec. 19.
