It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Winter Concert It's finally here! Our concert will be held on Tuesday, Dec 9, at 6pm. Please drop your children off at the classroom at 5:45, after taking them to the restroom.  Then head on up to the sanctuary to get a spot to watch your kiddos. We have been working hard on our songs, and the kids are so excited to sing them for you. Can't wait to see you there!   Important Dates: Dec. 8 - 12 - Book fair Dec. 9 - Winter concert Dec. 17 - Kindred Dec. 18, 19 - Class parties Dec. 22 - Jan. 2 - Winter break Thanks to everyone who attended the Santa breakfast on Saturday. It was so much fun to see the kids excitement over the books Santa gave them. Thank you to everyone that helped make the morning run smoothly. What an awesome group of families we have this year. We hope you all had as much fun as we did! This week Reindeer, stars, and ornaments are on the agenda this week. We have a lot of fun art projects planned, as well as plenty of time for excercise. The kids are so excited about the holidays, and we need time to get those wiggles out! Traditions Please let us know if you have any family traditions you would like to share with our class sometime in the next two weeks. It could be anything - a story you always read, an art project, a cooking project, etc. Just talk to us about planning a time to come into the classroom. Word Wall - Letter I This week we will be learning about the letter I for ivy, ice, and igloo . Your child may bring in something that starts with I for sharing.

Volunteer Opportunities Approved snack donations are now a way to fulfill part of your 2-hour volunteer requirement. Check out the new volunteer opportunities posted outside the classroom.
