This week: TURKEYS We will be making friendship mix, doing some fun turkey projects, working on our numbers 1 - 5, and continuing to practice our winter concert songs. Watch for a My Big World booklet to come home with your child this week.  We have a SHORT week this week. Class will be held Monday and Tuesday, November 24 and 25. There is no school Wednesday through Friday, November 26-28. Enjoy your time with family and friends on this Thanksgiving holiday! Important  Dates: Nov. 24, 25 - Bake sale Nov. 26 - 28 - Thanksgiving break Dec. 1 - Tuition due Dec. 6 - Santa breakfast, 9-11am Dec. 8 - 12 - Book fair Dec. 9 - Winter concert Dec. 17 - Kindred Dec. 18, 19 - Class parties Dec. 22 - Jan. 2 - Winter break This Week's  Songs - Winter Concert Songs Bake Sale Our holiday bake sale will be this Monday and Tuesday, November 24 - 25. Bring in something yummy to donate for the sale, buy something yummy to add to your holiday feast or give as a gift, and get some volunteer time covered by helping to sell the goodies. Teacher Katie has a sign-up sheet in the office. Santa Breakfast Tickets are on sale now for our annual Santa breakfast on Saturday, December 6, from 9 - 11. Santa will have a gift for each child who attends. Tickets will be on sale through Dec. 4 - $3 for kids, $5 for adults. We hope to see you all there! Winter Concert Our concert will be held on Tuesday, Dec 9. Mark your calendars. We have been working hard on our songs, and the kids are getting really excited to sing them for you. Canned Food Drive We are continuing to collect food in cooperation with the church to fill baskets for those in need in our community. Our box was overflowing last week. Thank you! You can keep bringing in non-perishable items through our last day of school before break, Dec. 19. Word Wall We will not be having a letter of the week, due to only having school on Monday and Tuesday. Your child may bring in something they are THANKFUL for to share at the end of the day.
